Treat yourself to our most luxurious walking tour.

Imagine a self-guided inn-to-inn walking tour focused on variety, comfort and flexibility, with a side of unique outings in Vermont's most scenic locations. We designed the Vermont Signature Experience for travelers who appreciate the finer things in life but don't want to miss out on the exciting variety of outdoor adventures the Green Mountains have to offer.

The Vermont Signature Experience is arranged by alternating "Travel Days" and "Adventure Days." On a Travel Day, you will make a scenic trek to the next town on your itinerary and check into your new accommodations. On an Adventure Day, you will have a tour or other prearranged activity that shows off the best of Vermont, followed (or preceded) by a curated hike of your choice, before returning to the same inn for a second night. Daily mileage is flexible and customized to meet your goals and abilities.

 

What's included:

  • Lodging in comfortable, premium rooms at some of our favorite Vermont inns (taxes and fees included)

  • Delicious country breakfast each morning

  • Gourmet packed trail lunches featuring local Vermont foods

  • Round-trip Scenic Lift Ride at Sugarbush Resort with excellent views of the Mad River Valley

  • Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour (the one and only!)

  • 60-minute massage at Stowe Village Massage

  • Round-trip Stowe Gondola SkyRide up Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak

  • Access to our Restaurant Concierge service, which includes advance dinner reservations at premier local restaurants and any required transportation to/from the restaurant (recommended dining list provided in advance)

  • All local transfers, including to and from trailheads as required

  • All luggage transfers between inns on Travel Days

  • Choice of Country Mile Vermont hat or water bottle

  • Waterproof paper map

  • Digital route maps for all Travel Days and digital hiking routes for all Adventure Days
